Westmont's historic run ended at Regionals with a 16-3 lost to Hollidaysburg. They ended their first-ever trip to Regionals with a 2-2 record and made it to the final four teams.

Congratulations to Westmont, the CCALL playoff champions, on a great season.

*** REGIONAL NEWS *** - 7/29/2008

Westmont comes from behind in the bottom of the ninth to pick up their second win at regionals. This win eliminates Somerset, CCALL regular season champions. It was the third straight topsy-turvy game for Somerset.

Congratulations to Somerset for a fantastic season.

*** REGIONAL NEWS *** - 7/28/2008

Westmont rebounded nicely from game one's loss to eliminate Punxy 12-10. Somerset lost another wild game 4-3 to State College, their regional nemisis.

Westmont and Somerset will face each other in an elimination game. This means one team will move on, but unfortunatly one CCALL team's tournament will be over.

*** REGIONAL NEWS *** - 7/27/2008

Somerset rallied from an 8-0 deficit to win in 10 innings verses Latrobe. Westmont dropped game one verses Kiski in their first game ever at Regionals.

*** PLAYOFF NEWS *** - 7/19/2008

Congratulations to Westmont for winning the championship series with St. Michael. Westmont won a hard-fought 13-12 game 2 to sweep the final series.

Westmont will join Somerset (regular season champions) at the regional tournament starting Saturday July 26th. Good luck to both teams!
